Zachary P. Waller

Zachary Waller, is an Assistant Professor of Aviation at the University of North Dakota (UND). He currently teaches a number of courses in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) at the undergraduate level and holds a B.S. in Aeronautics with a major in UAS Operation, and a M.S. in Aviation. He holds a commercial pilot certificate with instrument and multi-engine ratings, and has assisted in Medium Altitude, Long Endurance (MALE) UAS curriculum development and management within a cooperative agreement with the Air Force Research Lab. Mr. Waller is presently involved in research regarding Detect and Avoid (DAA) for sUAS Beyond Visual Line of Sight, and is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Education Foundations and Research.
