Adam Benjamin

Mr. Adam Benjamin is the Geomatics Specialist for the University of Florida at the Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center (FLREC). At UF, he teaches Geomatics classes including Foundations of UAS Mapping, collaborates on geospatial research, and promotes the geospatial profession through community outreach. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Elon University in North Carolina and a Master of Science in Geomatics from the University of Florida . He has surveying and mapping industry experience from his work for a land surveying and civil engineering firm in Rhode Island. He holds a Remote Pilot certificate and is the technical lead for UAS mapping operations at UF FLREC. His current research focuses on UAS mapping operational efficiency and applications of UAS mapping in natural resource and agricultural monitoring.
